Sai Kung Sung Tsun Catholic School (Primary Section) Development Focus for This Year: Strengthening Professional Teacher Training and Fully Equipping Students for the Future
面對全球化與科技的快速發展,本校深明「裝備學生面對未來能力(Future Readiness)」之重要性。為此,建立具前瞻性的專業教師團隊乃推動學校發展之核心。本年度,本校重點加強教師培訓,積極推動多項教育計劃,將最新教育理念落實於課堂:
1.「賽馬會創新教育力量」
引入創新與共融的教學實踐,啟發學生創新潛能,全面提升其未來適應力。
2.「賽馬會探索科學」計劃(先鋒教師培訓)
落實「探究式學習」,運用優質科學資源,重點培養學生的工程思維與解難能力。
3.「賽馬會人工智能教育」計劃(第一期)
將 AI 素養跨學科融入教學,同步強化學生的 AI 應用技能與科技倫理意識。
4.「香港賽馬會智理財教育」計劃
結合跨學科課程,傳授生活化理財知識,從小培養負責任的理財態度與正向金錢觀。
5.「自然生態素養體驗式教育計劃」(NEEEP)
推行大自然體驗式教學,提升學生生態素養與環保同理心,實踐可持續發展理念。
6.「RACE 跨學科課程」
本學期下午時段全面推行,聚焦閱讀(Reading)、國情文化(Art of Culture)、創科(Creative Maker)及生命教育(Life Education)四大核心,促進全人發展。
正如聖保祿宗徒的勸勉:「我只顧一件事:即忘盡我背後的,只向在我前面的奔馳,為達到目標。」(斐理伯書 3:13-14)。
本校教職員團隊定當秉持此信念,持續提升專業水平,與學生並肩追求卓越。
Facing rapid globalization and technological advancement, our school deeply understands the importance of equipping students with "Future Readiness." Therefore, building a forward-looking, professional teaching team is at the core of our school's development. This year, we are placing a strong emphasis on enhancing teacher training and actively promoting multiple educational programs to implement the latest educational concepts in the classroom:
1.The JC InnoPower Education Fellowship
Introducing innovative and inclusive teaching practices to inspire students' innovative potential and comprehensively enhance their adaptability for the future.
2. JC CoolScience Advanced Teacher Fellowship
Implementing "inquiry-based learning" and utilizing high-quality science resources, with a focus on cultivating students' engineering mindsets and problem-solving skills.
3. JC GoAI (Cohort 1)
Integrating AI literacy into interdisciplinary teaching, while simultaneously strengthening students' AI application skills and awareness of technology ethics.
4. The Hong Kong Jockey Club Financial Education Programme
Combining interdisciplinary curricula to impart practical, everyday financial knowledge, cultivating responsible financial attitudes and positive financial values from a young age.
5. Nature-based Eco-literate Experiential Education Programme (NEEEP)
Promoting nature-based experiential teaching to enhance students' eco-literacy and environmental empathy, putting the concept of sustainable development into practice.
6. RACE Interdisciplinary Curriculum
Fully implemented during afternoon sessions this semester, focusing on four core pillars: Reading, Art of Culture, Creative Maker, and Life Education, to promote students' holistic development.
In the spirit of St. Paul's exhortation: "But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal" (Philippians 3:13-14).
Our staff team will uphold this belief, continuously enhance our professional standards, and pursue excellence alongside our students.
