探訪「慈悲香港食堂」Visit "MercyHK Canteen"

為了讓學生能夠實踐基督的教導及傳承愛主愛人的精神，公教生及基督小先鋒於 3月26日下午走進社區，探訪由慈善團體「慈悲香港」營運的「慈悲香港食堂」。
同學們有幸見到「慈悲香港食堂」的創辦人、有「廟街神父」之稱的胡頌恆神父。神父講解此食堂的由來，透過互助和祈禱，讓社會上有需要的人得到尊重和安慰。
最後，胡神父帶領學生以歌聲讚美天主，讓我們都學會更加珍惜擁有的一切，並懂得關注身邊弱小的弟兄姊妹。
To put the teachings of Christ into practice and carry forward the spirit of loving God and one another, our Catholic students and the Young Pioneers of Christ stepped into the community on 26th March to visit "MercyHK Canteen", operated by the charitable organization, MercyHK.
The students were honored to meet Father John Wotherspoon, the founder of “MercyHK Canteen”, who is affectionately known as the "Priest of Temple Street". Father Wotherspoon shared the inspiring story behind the Canteen, explaining how it provides respect and comfort to those in need within our society through mutual support and prayer.
To conclude the visit, Father Wotherspoon led the students in praising God through song. This experience reminded us all to cherish everything we have and taught us the importance of caring for the people who are our brothers and sisters in our community.
