Characteristics
Readers are introduced to Primary 1 students to arouse their interest in reading whereas textbooks are used to teach English in Primary 2-6 so that students can develop reading skills through various text types/genres, build thematic vocabulary and understanding.
Both NET and local English teacher co-teach the P.1 curriculum to provide authentic learning environment.
Fun Reading Programme is arranged once a cycle to motivate learning to read and reading to learn.
Language arts is highly promoted through our Primary 1-2 musical workshops and drama lessons in Primary 4. Students are given opportunities to perform on stage and share their learning outcomes with others.
Our school receives support from NET Section to develop school-based English curriculum, so as to enrich the curriculum and promote student-centered learning.
